Warning: Bogus Prints

Posted by Patricia on 22 Dec 2006 | Tagged as: Art News

if you’re buying my prints off the internet and not directly from the artist or an authorized dealer, you might not be very pleased with the product you receive.  It’s come to our attention that some sites are offering my prints, but the images have been taken (read: stolen) from my site and are of extremely poor quality. Best to always check with the artist to see if you are buying from a legitimate vendor.

New Dog Images with the Danbury Mint

Posted by Patricia on 22 Dec 2006 | Tagged as: Art News

I’ve started another new series of paintings for the Danbury Mint of Lhasa Apso dogs. The first and second ones are complete and I’ll be publishing them on my site shortly for those of you who would like to order prints.  I hope you’ll find that I have succeeded in capturing their unique personalities…they’re very animated and jaunty little dogs and I’m certainly enjoying working with them.

New Developments for my Artwork

What’s the latest?  Well, we’ve entered into a partnership with a company called Chalk Talk Sports - www.chalktalksports.com  They have a vast inventory of sports realted gift items…in case you’re looking for that something special for the sports fan in your family.

They’re wonderful people to work with and they will be selling a lot of products with my sports images on them.  Right now I’m working on a line of small ‘vignettes’ to be reproduced on refrigerator note pads.  I’ll let you know as soon as they are available.

They also have a limited number of Christmas Ornaments available with my painting “A Country Christmas” painted on the inside.  Yes! On the inside of the ball!  It’s amazing actually.  I saw photos of the Chinese artists doing it.  They use a 4″ brush with angled bristles and paint in the reverse glass method through the tiny hole in the top of the ball.  Each Ornament is unique because each one is painted individually but they all come out looking just like “A Country Christmas”.  Check it out on their website.
